The Bible is a library of 66 books (62 in the original collections) authored by about 40 authors under the supervision of the Spirit of God.[1] In places there are indications of probable source documents and the presence of editors that compiled the writings.
That which has come to be accepted by the people(s) or God (Jews and Christians) comes to us by deliberations of God-fearing men entrusted by God to preserve His Word. The result is the "Canon" (the standard).
This wiki is dedicated to the study of the accepted collection as the "universe" in which the characters, events, and teachings are found. The best rule of understanding the Bible is to let the Bible be its own interpreter.
